Shail Jain

Shail Jain is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and operated several technology companies (DMR-TRECOM, BusinessEdge and Knowledgent) with a focus on Data Analytics and AI over the last thirty years.  The companies he founded created a cumulative shareholder value of over a half a billion dollars and have become cornerstones for data and AI related high growth businesses for their acquirers: Fujitsu, EMC and Accenture. Shail is well known in the industry for strategic advice and guidance to many CXO's for traversing their journey to become more data and analytics driven, his list of clients include AT&T, Merck, Sprint, Citi, Merrill, CVS, Optum Health, Celgene,  BMS, Verizon, etc.  He is a sought-after thought leader and advisor in the areas of Data Driven Reinvention, Augmented Data, Ethical Data & AI, Democratized Data and Data Products/Data Mesh. Shail championed one of the industry's first Big Data Catalog products in 2012 to promote data self-service and democratization.   

Shail has given numerous keynote presentations around the world at industry and partner events such as Informatica, Microsoft, AWS, Gartner and Forrester.   He is also a CEO/board advisor on subjects related to Data & AI, startups, business-growth and innovation.  

Shail has recently retired from Accenture after serving as its global leader for Data & AI business. He is now looking to work with early stage startups in the Data & AI field as an advisor/investor.  He is currently an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at .406 Ventures.
