Yun Wai Wai (Melody) Oo

Yun Wai Wai (Melody) Oo | She/Her/Hers | is entering her second semester at SPS under the Applied Analytics program. Melody focuses on Python and data visualization for applied analytics, including data wrangling with pandas and NumPy, exploratory analysis, and presenting insights through Tableau dashboards. Students can come to her for help with Python coding, debugging, and creating effective visualizations in Tableau. Melody draws from her experience on applied analytics projects, including a geospatial analysis integrating ShotSpotter crime data with housing data and a waste image classification project, to help students understand practical data workflows and translate analysis into clear insights.

Melody is most looking forward to helping students apply what they learn to real-world analytics projects and gain confidence working with data. She's excited to support students as they work through assignments, debug their code, and develop Python and data visualization skills that they can carry into future projects and careers.
