Vishal Rambaran

Vishal Rambaran was born in London, UK, and is currently in his second semester of a Master’s program in Enterprise Risk Management. He has a diverse international background, having lived and studied in Europe, the Caribbean, Australia, and the United States. Prior to his graduate studies, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston University.

In addition to his academic pursuits, he is the Director of Events for the Columbia Risk Management Club, where he will contribute to organizing key events and initiatives. Outside of his studies, he enjoys Formula One racing and playing soccer—having been part of Arsenal’s U14 development squad in his youth—and continues to stay active through sports, like Muay Thai. His global experiences, combined with his passion for risk management, have equipped him with a unique perspective and diverse skill set. He is eager to leverage these to create a dynamic, engaging environment for fellow students.
