Tyrik Washington

Tyrik Washington is a four-time EMMY award-winning television producer. For over two decades, Tyrik and his company NDMG Films,  have worked on the biggest stages to provide diverse meaningful entertainment in the world of music, film, and advertisement. Committed to upholding the “artist-activists” tradition, Tyrik, views his contributions in the arts as tentacles of his larger participation in the freedom struggle for all people. Tyrik’s heart for community led him to start 4TE Capitol Solutions, a multidisciplinary firm at the intersection of media, community engagement, and impact investment. Tyrik and 4TE has successfully worked on and conceptualized some of the largest public and private partnerships in NYC and NJ with the sole mission to direct strategic capital and grassroots collaborations to drive systemic change and amplify underrepresented voices. As the former Co-chair of the community based political organization, Operation P.O.W.E.R in Brooklyn, NY, Tyrik has led the efforts to elect several prominent activists to state and city government. Helping to directly author language for hundreds of key legislations; with the most notable being the New York State Assembly bill, A3080A, which established a community commission on Reparations in New York State.
