Titus Smith

Titus Smith is a graduate of Project Restore who was pivotal in bringing his peers into the program. He is now a community justice advocate working at the Center for Justice at Columbia University as a facilitator and mentor, where he supports young people in navigating conflict, developing leadership skills, and envisioning alternatives to the challenges of street life.
Inspired by his experience with Project Restore, Titus is also pursuing studies in Mental Health and Human Services at Kingsborough Community College and aspires to continue his education at Columbia University. During Project Restore, he also helped establish the Public Safety Working Group, a coalition of leaders from rival crews who came together to sustain peace locally and contribute to citywide strategies for reducing gun violence.
Dedicated to uplifting his community and others facing similar struggles, Titus continues to build pathways for safer and more resilient futures.
