Ted Jastrzebski

Part-Time Lecturer of Finance; Former Publicly Traded CFO and General Manager

Ted Jastrzebski is a transformative and strategic business leader with deep financial and international expertise in consumer products, retail, energy distribution and international humanitarian aid and development. He has a proven track record of building high performing teams, value creation, and driving operational excellence across a range of product categories, industries, business models and geographies.

Ted was named Chief Financial Officer for UGI Corporation, an energy distribution company, in May 2018. In this position, Ted oversaw the full range of Finance functions for the family of UGI business units, including ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives and the company’s ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) approach, while also having launched a Strategic Procurement function and a centralized IT function. Upon his retirement in June 2023, he was credited with UGI’s re-invention to a more agile matrixed structure, fostering greater innovation and a broader portfolio of alternative green energy solutions.

Ted began his career at Procter & Gamble (P&G), where he spent most of his 14 years in emerging markets, and was instrumental in the launch of P&G Poland, the turnaround of P&G Egypt, and accelerating P&G’s growth on the Indian subcontinent. More recently, Ted served as Senior Vice President and CFO for Qurate, expanding on the QVC brand to include HSN, Zulily and Cornerstone, and delivering record sales, profit and market shares.

Prior to Qurate, Ted served in his first P&L roles as the President of Hershey International and Hershey Americas, during which time he dramatically expanded Hershey’s footprint throughout Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Ted also served as CFO for two major international charities: Project HOPE and CARE, the latter being the world’s largest private relief and development organization. Drawn to these non-profits by their mission, he established financial practices and controls that rivaled the sophistication of a well-run public corporation.

Ted earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northwestern University and his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business. A passionate traveler, he has visited over 85 countries, and is an avid runner and cyclist.
