Suzanne M Klatt

Suzanne Klatt is Director of Sustainability and Government Affairs at ABM Industries - an integrated facilities management company - where she leads the company’s sustainability strategy and public policy engagement. Her work focuses on integrating sustainability into core business operations, including the development of carbon reduction pathways, renewable energy procurement strategies, and fleet electrification initiatives.

Prior to joining ABM, Suzanne was Vice President of ESG and Sustainability at American Express, where she led the implementation of enterprise-wide sustainability goals and advanced the company’s net-zero climate commitment. She previously held leadership roles at IBM as Global Lead of Environmental, Social and Governance Programs and Strategy, and at Nasdaq, where she helped shape the firm’s approach to sustainability and climate risk. Earlier in her career, she served as Vice President of Environment and Sustainability at Prudential Financial, Inc., focusing on long-term value creation through sustainability integration.

Suzanne began her career in trade and investment roles with the Canadian and French governments. She holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, a master’s degree in French Studies from New York University, and a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
