Susan Cafetz

Susan Cafetz has worked in the ESL profession since 1979 as a young university graduate teaching in Bologna, Italy. While at the American Language Program since 1981, she has continued to be an instructor at other colleges in the City University of New York system. She has also been a teacher trainer at the New School, teaching both the practicum and workshops. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a master’s degree in TESOL from Hunter College. Her varied interests include traveling and exploring the multicultural aspects of New York City, including its ethnic food and the arts.
