Saxon Stahl
Political Analytics Program Representative
Hi everyone, my name is Saxon Stahl and I am serving as the Political Analytics Program Representative for SPSSG. I grew up in Temecula, California with my ancestral roots tied to Arizona from the Pascua Yaqui and Diné (Navajo) tribal nations. In undergrad, I attended UC Santa Cruz where I earned my bachelor's degrees in Environmental Studies and Political Science. This is my second master's degree program at Columbia University, with the first over at the Columbia Climate School where I had also founded its established student government, the Columbia Climate Graduate Council (CCGC), and was a 2023 Campbell Award recipient on behalf of the school. After graduation, I plan to work within one of the federal departments or a state legislature (depending on where I end up). In my spare time, I enjoy museums, fashion history, perfume hunting and giving tarot readings. Being a student advocate is something I'm familiar with, and SPSSG is no different as the opportunity to represent the well-being of the student community is a journey worthwhile as I get to meet incredible student leaders, your representatives, in student government, and the rest of the student community, aka YOU, that makes SPS a vibrant addition to Columbia's campus culture.
