Sarah Farber

M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

Sarah Farber is a graduate of Columbia University’s M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program and currently serves as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman Advocate with New York State, through the Center for Independence of the Disabled, New York (CIDNY). In this role, she advocates for residents of long-term care facilities and works at the intersection of conflict resolution, ethics, and public service. Her professional interests include understanding the roots of conflict, mediation, and advancing ombuds practice. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga and exploring practices that support mindfulness.
