Sabina Sackett
Senior Strategic Advisor, School of Professional Studies, Columbia University
As a Senior Strategic Advisor at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies, Sabina Sackett is responsible for developing partnerships with key stakeholders across the University to improve all aspects of academic and non-academic student experience. She is the co-chair of the learning and development committee, responsible for identifying advisor skill gaps and building learning and development programs to bridge those gaps. In addition, Sackett is an assessment committee member in charge of developing an assessment plan for a team of 15 advisors and measuring the impact it has on student experience.
Prior to joining Columbia University's School of Professional Studies, Sackett was the Leadership and Development Program Coordinator at Goldman Sachs. Before that role, Sackett was an Education Specialist at the United Nations and a Graduate Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
A lifelong learner, Sackett has multiple certificates from Columbia University in Influencing, Communicating in Conflict and Managing Difficult Conversations.
