With more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology and storytelling through live experiences, Rudy R. Rodriguez is a technology executive, production leader, and educator specializing in digital transformation and experiential design. As Technical Director of Event Production at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, he leads technical strategy for large-scale productions, capital infrastructure, and immersive media initiatives across one of the world's premier performing arts institutions.
His expertise spans live event production, broadcast technologies, enterprise systems, artificial intelligence, mixed reality (XR), and digital media. Throughout his career, he has led cross-functional teams and multi-million-dollar initiatives that connect technical excellence with artistic vision at scale.
Before joining Lincoln Center, Rudy held technology leadership positions at Columbia University and the New York Academy of Sciences, supporting executive operations, digital transformation, and developing and implementing new standards for producing global events. He also maintains an active creative practice as a freelance sound designer and experiential producer.
As an educator, Rudy teaches and supports graduate courses in user-centered design, innovation, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and technology leadership. He emphasizes systems thinking and human-centered design to prepare students to lead technology-driven organizations.
Rudy has served as a judge, speaker, and advisor on emerging technologies for academic, nonprofit, and industry organizations.
