Rudy R. Rodriguez

Associate Lecturer, Technology Management

Rudy R. Rodriguez is a Technologist currently working as a Technical Director for the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. He has worked in the Live Event, Theater, and Technology industries for twenty years, with a background in Theatrical Audio and Sound Engineering, Live Stage Production and Management, Technology Operations Management, and Network Technologies. This work includes clients with Non-Profits, Fortune 500 companies, higher education, and government agencies. His work in Audio Visual, Theater, Film, and Technology management background and experience has enabled him grow and thrive as a new-age technological Renaissance contributor to the experiential event and technology space. His methodology is to approach Technology as Art.

Rudy recently obtained an Executive Master of Science degree in Technology Management at Columbia University, focusing on Entertainment Technology and C-Suite management. His master's thesis project involved engineering mobile and portable AR/VR/XR streaming solutions. He has a Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts from Columbia University, focusing on Playwriting and Directing. He also is a music practitioner, sound designer, composer, and writer. His writings and research focus on storytelling and liminality, theater design and production theory, social dramas, strategic advocacy, and managing the multi-media multiverse.
