Roman Halfin

US CRO & Head of Investment Risk, Enstar Group

Roman Halfin, M.B.A, F.R.M, is the US CRO & Head of Investment Risk at Enstar Group, a global specialty (re)insurer. With 20 years of extensive experience in risk management both in the US and abroad, Roman leads the risk function in the US and is responsible for investment risk globally.

Prior to joining Enstar Group in 2018, Roman held various positions at AIG, Harel Insurance Ltd., Prisma Investment House, and Bank Leumi Ltd. At AIG, Roman led the design of CCAR stress scenarios and assessed the stress impact of major transactions and capital actions. At Harel Insurance Ltd., Roman managed market risk, built a credit risk function, and implemented Solvency II Market risk and Credit risk modules.

Roman's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) and a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University.
