Philip Pantitanonta
Actuarial Science Program Representative
Hello! My name is Philip Pantitanonta, and I’m thrilled to serve as the Actuarial Science Program Representative at SPSSG. I spent my childhood years in Bangkok, Thailand, before earning my degree in Real Estate and Mathematics from New York University. Beyond SPSSG, I enjoy exploring New York through new restaurants, film photography, concerts, and citi-biking around the city.
To me, being a representative means more than turning voices into meaningful actions; it’s also about leading with empathy, being transparent, and fostering a community where people feel valued and connected.
At Columbia, I put those beliefs into practice by having served as Social Chair of the Actuarial Society of Columbia University (ASCU), where I organized events that blended professionalism, education, and fun. These experiences strengthened my creativity, leadership, and community-building skills, and I am beyond excited to bring these strengths to SPSSG to help our community thrive.
