Noelle Smith
Treasurer, SPS Student Government | Spring 2025
Hello, my name is Noelle Smith. I am a candidate in the M.S. of Enterprise Risk Management program originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a pleasure to serve as Treasurer of the SPS Student Government. In my previous role during the Fall 2024 semester, I served as an At-Large Representative where I represented the student body and assisted with our events. A fun fact is that this is my fourth time serving as treasurer of an organization. In college, I was the treasurer of the Mock Trial team and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and now I am also the Columbia SPS Black Student Guild treasurer. For fun, I enjoy exploring New York, traveling to new places, meeting new people, and hanging out with friends and family. Outside of Columbia, I have an internship at the Leech Tishman Law Firm and I am the business owner of https://raydin.store/. My career ambition is to specialize in corporate law with a focus on strategic risk and operational risk. Work-life integration is something that I pride myself on so can I do my best in the SPS Student Government role as treasurer. Contributing to our community and the Columbia University SPS student experience is a rewarding experience that I look forward to.
