Nataliya Donchenko

M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

Nataliya Donchenko is a professional with a strong academic background in business, strategy, marketing, psychology, and behavioral sciences, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (NECR) at Columbia University. Her research and interests focus on understanding the factors that influence human behavior and decision-making, particularly in high-stakes scenarios. Her master's thesis examines the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes against the AMPTP, using advanced conflict and network mapping tools to analyze negotiation dynamics and explore sustainable solutions.

Nataliya holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from Bayes Business School, where her thesis centered on how consumer decision-making is influenced by negative publicity, exploring the psychological factors that drive mass behavior. This experience deepened her passion for understanding and applying tools that shape and nudge human decision-making toward desired outcomes, particularly in marketing and business contexts.

Professionally, she has gained valuable experience in roles that blend strategic communication, analysis, marketing, strategy, and innovation. At the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations, Nataliya supported high-level diplomatic operations, including presidential and ministerial support, authored speeches, facilitated key international meetings, and trained diplomats in leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows. She also mentored interns and youth delegates, ensuring effective teamwork during high-pressure events.

Her work at Luman involved leading marketing analyses, creating impactful digital strategies, and enhancing brand visibility through creative content management. Additionally, as the founder of Info2HelpUkraine, she developed a platform to foster transparent global donations, addressing critical challenges during the onset of the Ukraine war.

Nataliya is fluent in four languages and currently learning two more. Having lived in six countries and traveled to over 30, she enjoys adapting to diverse cultures, which helps her understand how the minds of various nations work and tailor effective strategies accordingly. Beyond her professional pursuits, Nataliya is deeply passionate about animal rescue and actively support initiatives to improve animal welfare and stop animal testing.
