Namra Naseer

Student, Information & Knowledge Strategy (IKNS)

Namra Naseer is currently pursuing an M.S. in Information and Knowledge Strategy at Columbia University, with a focus on knowledge strategy, business analytics and entrepreneurship. She is also an incoming fellow at VC University, UC Berkeley Law. 

Recently, Namra worked at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), where she conducted market research and developed business pipelines for the NJ Innovation Evergreen Fund Tax Credit Auction, and crafted a pitch deck for pre-seed startups utilizing SAFE funding, collaborating with angel investors, VCs, and legal experts. As a founding team member of Ivy E Labs Accelerator, she has been instrumental in developing entrepreneurial education programs for international students in New York City. She supported Search Plus AI, an immigrant-founded information retrieval Gen-AI startup, significantly scaling the business.

Namra’s prior experience includes being a research fellow at Stimson Center, Washington D.C. where she published extensively on business, technology, and geopolitics, and research associate at the National Defence University in Islamabad, leading national security conferences and authoring policy papers. Actively involved in internet governance and policy, she also serves as a board member of Internet Society New York.
