Michael Nwachuwku

Michael Nwachukwu is a 2025 co-valedictorian and graduate of Morgan State University, where he earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Information Systems and Marketing. He is currently pursuing his M.S. in Enterprise Risk Management as an HBCU Fellow at Columbia University.

A U.S. Army veteran and entrepreneur, Michael is the founder of GT Consulting, a firm that helps small businesses strengthen operations and strategy, and the Mojo Cares Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting battered and displaced women in earning IT and business certifications. His passion for leadership, innovation, and community empowerment drives his work across business and social impact spaces.

At Columbia, Michael aims to deepen his expertise in risk strategy and sustainable development while continuing to build organizations that bridge opportunity gaps and foster inclusive growth. Outside of his studies, he enjoys fitness, fashion, travel, and creative content production, often using these outlets to express storytelling, culture, and purpose.
