Melanie Fears

Melanie Fears is Senior Director, HR Lead for Global Supply Chain and Enterprise Organizational Design Strategy at Tapestry, leading organizational design across the company's global operations. She has more than 20 years in organization design, workforce transformation, and human capital strategy, and has supported 190+ organizations across Big Four consulting and Fortune 100 roles.

Before Tapestry, Melanie was Senior Director for Organization & Workforce Transformation at EY, leading enterprise-wide organization design and talent strategy for M&A, restructuring, and large-scale transformation in media, consumer goods, and retail. She previously served in executive roles at Citigroup, as Senior Vice President leading process improvement & Robotics Smart Automation programs, and at Delta Air Lines, as an executive functional owner overseeing tier 1 HR Service Delivery, Change Management, and Communications for a workforce of 75,000+ employees. She also has been an external consultant within Human Capital and Organization Strategy practices in KPMG, Deloitte, and Booz Allen Hamilton, advising C-suite and senior government leaders on operating models and workforce planning.

Melanie holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and a Master of  Tourism Administration, both from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brigham Young University (BYU) Hawaii. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and previously designed and taught an executive Lean Six Sigma consulting course for BYU Hawaii, where she also taught quality management and business ethics courses.
