Mark Ritzmann

Dr. Mark Ritzmann has worked in the field of data and analytics for over 20 years. He has worked in the vertical areas of government/public sector, financial services, energy and utilities, healthcare, and telco. He has worked for Capgemini, IBM, Oracle, Endeca, and American Express as well as a number of start-ups. Dr. Ritzmann is currently the Executive Director of the SPS Analytics and Information Systems Lab. He also Chairs the AI at SPS Working Group and is a member of the University's Emerging Technologies Committee AI Community of Practice, and the University's IT Leadership Committee. Dr. Ritzmann is Director and CTO of the Responsible AI Leadership Consortium, a founding partner in AIQ Venture Labs, a contributor to the OpenAI Forum, and a community member of Tribe AI.
Dr. Ritzmann has conducted primary research in the areas of neural networks, machine learning, missing data imputation, and decision making under uncertain conditions. His current project work includes AI, responsible and ethical use of AI, ML, applied analytics, data visualization, and data engineering.
