Marissa Graciella
ANCoRS Project Management Officer | M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
Marissa Graciella is a current student in the M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (NECR) program at Columbia University and serves as the Project Management Officer of the student group Association for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (ANCoRS).
Marissa is an Indonesian graduate student with a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), where she cultivated strong analytical skills and interdisciplinary approaches to problem solving. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Marissa was selected as an Educational Improvement Facilitator with Indonesia Mengajar (Teach for Indonesia). In this capacity, she acquired valuable grassroots experience by engaging in a year and two month-long community immersion in rural area of Indonesia.
Over the past decade of her professional career in the public sector, she has focused on the intricate dynamics of multi-stakeholder engagement, with a particular emphasis on navigating competing interests and facilitating effective conflict resolution. Her enduring commitment to the intersections of social, political, educational, and environmental spheres—along with extensive experience in stakeholder management—shaped her decision to pursue a master’s degree at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.
