He studied abroad in Spain, conducted research in India, and presented at conferences in Canada and The Czech Republic. During his time at Baruch, he interned with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Office of the New York State Attorney General, & Environmental Defense Fund. This is not his first time on Columbia’s campus – he conducted his senior honors thesis, in part, at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory.
He is excited to bring his unique perspective as a military child to SPS; he has lived in 7 different states and was the 2021 Military Child of the Year for the United States Coast Guard. Liam wants to pursue a career in environmental and climate law & policy. While at SPS, he hopes to learn more about the circular economy, sustainability policy, and how to finance the clean energy transition before going to law school.
