Konstatinos Di Samaras

Strategic Communication Program Representative

Kostas Samaras serves in the SPSSG as the Strategic Communication Representative and is the Founder and President of the Ethical Innovation & Leadership Society at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies.

Originally from Athens, Greece, Kostas completed his undergraduate studies in Economics, where he developed a strong interest in leadership, community building, and collective progress.

From early on, he has been inspired by creating a sense of togetherness, purpose, and dedication within communities. Throughout his academic journey, he has held several leadership roles, including President of his school, President of his College’s Investment Club, Vice President of the Economics Society, and President of the Student Association. In these roles, he worked to represent diverse voices, turn community ideas into action, and contribute to the growth and organization of student initiatives.

Professionally, Kostas has gained experience with some of Greece’s most successful companies, particularly in sales and marketing roles. He also completed an internship at the National Bank of Greece, where he worked alongside the CEO of the Leasing Department.

Through his role in the SPSSG, Kostas aims to ensure that students’ voices are heard and that members of the community feel included in the decision-making process. His goal is to help bridge gaps, encourage collaboration, and contribute positively to the growth of the Strategic Communication program.

He strongly believes that Strategic Communication is a field where diverse perspectives and viewpoints intersect with thoughtful dialogue and informed decision-making. He welcomes new ideas and perspectives from colleagues that can strengthen the program and foster meaningful collaboration.
