Konstatinos Di Samaras

Hello everyone! 

This is Kostas Samaras and I am truly honored to serve in the SPSSG as the Strategic Communication Representative at Columbia School of Professional Studies. 

I come from Athens, Greece and I have completed my undergraduate studies in Economics where I combined a passion for community progress and leadership. 

From early on, creating a sense of togetherness, purpose and dedication has always inspired me. I have been elected as President of my school, President of my College’s Investment Club, Vice-President of the Economics Society and President of the Student Association. Each one of these roles gave me the opportunity to represent diverse voices, implement community ideas into action and prioritize tasks. Professionally, I had the privilege to gain working experience with some of Greece’s most successful companies, especially in sales and marketing positions, as well as an internship at the National Bank of Greece where I worked next to the CEO of the Leasing department. 

I’m here to make everyone’s voices heard and feel included in the process. To bridge gaps and act decisively for the good of our community. To deliver. Strategic Communication is by definition a school where different beliefs and view points should cross with the art of optimal decision making. I would therefore be grateful to receive from my colleagues any new ideas and perspectives, which could empower our program and cooperation.
