Katy LeDuc

ANCoRS Vice President | Student, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

Katy LeDuc will graduate from the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program at Columbia University in the Fall of ’24 and currently serves as Vice President of the student group Association for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (ANCoRS).

In her free time, Katy enjoys biking, gardening, cooking with friends, and exploring the city. She has volunteered with Little Brothers, Friends of the Elderly, to support older adults experiencing isolation and loneliness; Best Friends Animal Society, a sanctuary and adoption center for homeless animals; The Odyssey Project, which seeks to break the cycle of poverty by providing adult education at no cost; and Life Span, Chicago which provides legal services, advocacy and counseling to survivors of domestic abuse. 

Katy currently mediates for the New York Civilian Complaint Review Board and Chicago’s Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) and works as a trainer at CCR. She also works as a grant writer at Part of the Solution (POTS), a social services organization serving the Bronx. She has advanced training in community-police mediation, parent-child mediation, child-focused mediation, and juvenile re-entry mediation. Areas of interest include facilitating community building, restorative and environmental justice, land-use disputes, and transboundary water conflicts.
