Judy L. Miller

Associate, American Language Program

Judy L. Miller has been teaching at the American Language Program of Columbia University since 1988. After completing her education at Barnard College and Columbia University, she worked for many years in Paris at the Ecole d’Ingenieurs en Electronique et Electrotechnique. As a full-time lecturer at Columbia, she has developed and taught courses on all levels of academic English, specializing in advanced composition courses. She has also taught at the Juilliard School of Music and in the teacher training program at the New School. She has co-authored a number of texts, including Northstar Advanced Reading & Writing, Reason to Write and Longman Academic Reading 3 & 4.
