Columbia HBCU Fellow 2024 | Johnson C. Smith University

John Josiah is a 2024 HBCU Fellow at Columbia University. He holds a bachelor's degree in Biology with minors in Bioinformatics and Chemistry from Johnson C. Smith University.

Driven to improve the accessibility and delivery of quality healthcare, John is currently focused on using data and predictive technology to mitigate health conditions that prevent people, particularly those from under-resourced areas, from living to their full potential. He hopes that his degree in Applied Analytics will equip him with the leadership and technical skills to transform data into action and influence critical decisions.
