Jeremy Medina

Jeremy Medina is currently an Actuary at Alliant Insurance Services, one of the top 5 largest and fastest-growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the United States.  He supports commercial Property & Casualty insurance clients with loss forecasting, total cost of risk projections, loss reserving, collateral indications, enterprise risk scoring, and risk tolerance assessments.

Jeremy has worked in the insurance industry for 10 years and has experience with commercial lines ratemaking, reinsurance pricing, data science, loss reserving, and product management across numerous lines of business including General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, and Commercial Property.

Prior to his time at Alliant, Jeremy also worked as an actuary at Chubb, Marsh Risk, and Selective.  Jeremy began his career at Allstate, where he was a product management analyst.

Jeremy is the Lecturer for the Predictive Modeling class at Columbia University, starting in Spring 2027.

Jeremy is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).  He has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The College of New Jersey.
