Jennye E. Greene

Lecturer, Sustainability Management

Jennye Greene is a sustainable energy professional with 15+ years' experience working on inclusive energy transitions, mostly in Tropical Africa. She has worked as a consultant to international development organizations, African intergovernmental organizations, and civil society groups on due diligence, design and evaluation of programs, policies, and lending portfolios. She was a co-founder of a clean energy social enterprise incubator in Tanzania. This is her second year teaching at Columbia SPS.

She has an M.A. from Columbia Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (Climate and Society), an A.B. from Brown University (International Relations), and certificates from year-long programs of study at Sciences-Po Paris and D.E.A.C Cairo.
