Jennifer Hoffman

Jennifer is the Vice President of Risk Management at Reiter Affiliated Companies (RAC), the largest fresh, multi-berry producer in the world and the leading supplier of fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries in North America. She leads efforts to mature and enhance Enterprise Risk, Third Party Risk, Business Continuity, Insurance, and Internal Audit.

Prior to this role, Jennifer was Head of Risk Management at Blackline, a software company which provides cloud-based solutions to companies globally to streamline accounting and finance operations. Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in risk management working in Europe, North and South America.

Jennifer developed her risk advisory foundation and knowledge base with a decade of consulting for Ernst &Young in Rome, Italy. She then went on to create and run the Risk Management Department within a major Italian infrastructure company, where she was in charge of developing the risk framework, methodologies, processes, procedures, and tools at the enterprise, country and project level. In 2015, Jennifer moved to Washington, D.C. as Vice President of Risk Management, and Multilateral Relations, to act as liaison between Italian headquarters and the World Bank and other multilateral organizations.

Jennifer is a graduate of Columbia College, Columbia University and holds an MBA from St. John’s University (Rome Campus). Jennifer is fluent in English and Italian and is proficient in both French and Spanish. Jennifer is an active member of AIFIRM (the Italian Association of Financial Industry Risk Management), collaborating on Position Papers on Strategic Risk Management and Emerging Risk. She is also a Board member of the Center for Community Development Senegal.

Jennifer’s most rewarding role is that of being the proud mother of two young adults, William and Victoria. Her hobbies are rowing, skiing, traveling, and music.
