Jane Rayburn

Speaker; Co-Founder & Partner at Workbench Strategy

Jane Rayburn is a co-founder and partner at Workbench Strategy where she serves as Head of Polling and Qualitative. Jane works with a variety of clients including political campaigns, public interest groups, and advocacy organizations. Jane has committed her career to equitable representation and fighting for working people. She most recently served as pollster for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and has worked with other candidates and causes both in New York and across the country from Florida to Oklahoma to Massachusetts.

Jane took her first job in survey research in 2003 at the Government Performance Survey Research Center at Florida State University in her hometown of Tallahassee, Florida and worked with a local Boston pollster for four years. She founded Workbench Strategy after serving as a Partner at EMC Research where she led one of their national political electoral and advocacy team.

Jane graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Political Science and Classics  and a minor in Philosophy and completed an MA in Classical Languages at the University of Georgia. Jane is proud to train for organizations across the country that help women and first-time candidates learn to run for office, such as Arena, Emerge, and VoteRunLead. In 2019, Jane was named a "40 under 40" award winner by the American Association of Political Consultants for recognition as one of the best and brightest young politicial professionals in the country.
