Jamie Muskopf, D.S.W. (she/her/'o ia) enjoys a career in knowledge and information strategy that often traverses less conventional paths. Dr. Muskopf has more than 20 years of executive leadership and consulting in the fields of technology and knowledge strategy across all sectors and is currently the Director of Technical Assistance and Learning at Lux Consulting Group. In 2020 she earned a Doctor of Social Work, Social Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation and holds master of science degrees in Information & Knowledge Strategy from Columbia University and Information Systems from Hawai’i Pacific University. As a corporate social worker she enthusiastically brings the science of social work and her passion for exploring the intersection of indigenous and western knowledge practices into how she teaches and applies the principles of knowledge strategy. She has worked with organizations like Nike, Microsoft, the US Department of Education, the US Department of Health and Human Services, the US Department of Agriculture, the US Navy, and the US Department of Defense.

Dr. Muskopf is proud to be Native Hawaiian, an active duty Navy submarine officer’s spouse, and mom of 3, and serves as a subject matter expert for The Rosie Network's Service to CEO program for military spouses and veterans. She is President of the Board of Directors for Ho’ola Veteran Services (Ho’ola Farms) and a graduate of Purple Mai'a Foundation's place-based design program Ka Maka 'Īnana (Cohort 5). She is trained in Building Resilience through Trauma-Informed Practices in Higher Education, is certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid in the US, and is an ETS Sponsor trained to assist individuals transitioning out of military service. Dr. Muskopf is a Certified Facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method which she uses to help students and clients share tacit knowledge in 3D. As an IKNS Alumna, she is honored to guide future alumni through the IKNS capstone course and to support the program as a member of the admissions committee and as a faculty advisor.
