Harry Christodoulou
Supervising Impartial Hearing Officer, OATH
Harry Christodoulou is an international attorney, risk advisor, and former dispute resolution practitioner, having litigated cases in the United States, Europe, Africa, and Australia. Harry joined the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH), in a newly created division to adjudicate legal disputes in due process administrative proceedings. He has since been promoted to team leader and tasked to supervise other impartial hearing officers in the division. Harry was formerly an equity partner for the global law firm DLA Piper (in its former group firm in South Africa), where he was appointed the firm’s sole insolvency law specialist, having notable experience advising distressed corporate enterprises. He chaired the New York Peace Institute’s Mediator Advisory Board and was appointed to the neutrals’ roster for the NY Supreme Court - Commercial Division and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York. Harry holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)(South Africa). He also received an MS in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) from Columbia University. He was the first ERM alumnus inducted into the Dean’s Honor Society, and lectures part-time in both the Value-Based ERM and Capstone courses.
