Gregory Fabiano

Associate

Gregory is the Legacy Giving Officer at the Foundation Fighting Blindness. He has an extensive background in nonprofit fundraising and development, with a specific focus in planned/legacy giving. Gregory has held roles at Brookyln College Foundation, Delta Upsilon Educational Foundation, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, March of Dimes, Columbia University Irving Medical Center and served with AmeriCorps with both City Year and Jumpstart for Young Children.

Gregory’s background gives him the skills to build strong relationships with a focus on open communication and a deep understanding of human behavior. Outside of his fundraising work, Gregory has worked on a variety of political campaigns in both New York and Florida. He has a vast array of experience in building complex and detailed systems focused on management and, more specifically, the processes needed to manage and change organizational structures to be more efficient and effective for all parties. Through his professional background and volunteer work, Gregory has a deep understanding of relationship management and organizational behavior structures.

He has served as an Associate Instructor/Course Associate for over five years with the Columbia University School of Professional Studies.

Gregory holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in Political Science, History and Public Affairs. He holds a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Florida and master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University.

Gregory resides in Cheshire, CT with his wife, Dr. Pranitha Prabhu, and their dog, Bruno. In his free time, Gregory enjoys traveling with his wife and dog as well as volunteering in the local community.
