Farzeen Ghorashy

Farzeen Ghorashy serves as the CFO and Chief Strategy Officer of Overtime, the leading sports brand creating disruptive new sports leagues and IP aimed globally at the next generation of sports fans and athletes.


Farzeen has helped grow the company from 25 employees to 300+ and leads all business functions including corporate strategy, finance, biz dev, corporate development, investor relations, fundraising, biz affairs & legal. Farzeen is also a co-founder of Overtime Elite (OTE), the professional basketball league launched in 2021. Farzeen led the incubation, fundraising, and launch of OTE and now oversees its business and basketball operations and serves as a board member alongside Carmelo Anthony, Pau Gasol, and Jay Williams.


Previously, Farzeen was one of the first members of Endeavor’s (WME-IMG) Strategy & Corporate Development team, where he led a number of strategic initiatives, ranging from business development, strategy, M&A, and early-stage investing, and worked across several business units, focused on sports properties and direct-to-consumer & digital projects.


Farzeen started his career in finance, in the industry-renowned TMT investment banking group at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he advised clients on M&A transactions and corporate strategy across tech, media, entertainment, and sports. At Goldman, he closed several transactions totaling +$10 billion in value, including the sale of Formula One to Liberty Media.


Farzeen was born and raised in Toronto and holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Queen’s University in Canada.
