Evelyn Blankenship-Lai, MSN, PNP-BC

Evelyn Lai is a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in infectious diseases in the immunocompromised population. She received her MSN in 2011 from Yale and wrote her master's praxis on the use of bibliotherapy in parentally-bereaved children. She also has BAs in English Literature and Chinese Language/Literature from Swarthmore College (2008) and graduated with the MS in Narrative Medicine at Columbia in 2019. Evelyn has written both academically and creatively; her creative work can be found on KevinMD, PulseVoices and Doximity. She currently practices at Seattle Children's Hospital in the Division of Infectious Diseases. Evelyn loves listening to podcasts on 1.5X speed, catching as many Puget Sound sunsets as possible, and snacking on all things peanut butter.
