Erin Bansal

Erin is a lawyer and privacy and data strategy executive. Erin has almost 20 years experience in helping companies design and implement innovative solutions to solve their privacy and security challenges.

Erin currently serves as the Data Protection Officer and Global Compliance & Privacy Counsel for the leading corporate wellness solution Wellhub (formerly known as Gympass). She spearheads Wellhub’s global approach to privacy, trust and compliance issues - from the solutions and data it maintains, to engaging with customers and partners. In this role, Erin oversees not only Wellhub’s global privacy program, but also the implementation of its Generative AI policy and processes, the company’s third party risk management process, and its incident response processes.

Prior to joining Wellhub, Erin worked with leading technology companies as in-house counsel including Via Technology and Samsung, and she was previously associated with the law firm of Orrick-Herrington & Sutcliffe where her practice focused on internal investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, and complex litigation. Erin is currently a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (CIPP-US, CIPM).
