Eduard “Spike” Rivera

Lecturer

Dr. Eduard “Spike” Rivera is a Program Management Faculty instructor for Lockheed Martin Corporation. Spike has over 37 years of experience in organizational leadership, strategy, and program management. He is currently responsible for workforce training and development focused on Project Management, Leadership, Organizational Development, and human capital strategy. Spike also designs classroom and online training curriculum for employees, engineers, and executives to drive organizational strategic growth and sustainability.

Since May 2014, he has executed classroom and virtual training and development to over 2,500 LM leaders, Program Managers, Engineers, and functional employees globally. Spike has conducted training both in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and Abu Dhabi.

Previously, Dr. Rivera managed and led an aerospace and defense program portfolio valued at over $505M, 1,205 employees, covering 79 US Naval installations. Before being selected as an LM corporate Workforce Strategy and Intelligence faculty instructor, he served in numerous program performance excellence roles. 

Dr. Rivera served honorably for 22 years in the US Air Force assigned to DoD Special Operations, SOUTHCOM, and the Air Force Intelligence Agency.

He holds a Doctorate in Management in Organizational Development from Colorado Technical University, a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland University College, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education with a minor in Human Resources from Wayland Baptist University graduating Summa Cum Laude.
