Divya Gururaj

Associate

Divya Gururaj has over 30 years of experience in advertising and media, organizational leadership, client management, and global team operations across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Her industry background includes senior roles at Brainlabs, Mindshare, and MediaCom, where she consulted organizations such as Unilever, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Mars, The Coca-Cola Company, and Kimberly-Clark. 

Divya’s professional work has focused on areas including organizational effectiveness, team performance, digital transformation, talent development, and client advisory. She has led cross-functional and cross-market teams, supported the development of learning programs for professionals, and contributed to initiatives involving organizational design, capability building, and operational integration across global markets.

In parallel with her industry experience, Divya teaches in Northwestern University’s MS in Learning and Organizational Change program. Her teaching approach integrates practical application with research-based frameworks.

Divya holds a PhD in Business Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where her research examined team engagement and performance in remote and hybrid teams. She also holds an MS in Learning & Organizational Change, an Organizational Leadership Coaching Certificate from Northwestern University, an MBA and a BA in Economics.

She lives in New York City and loves travelling, photography, theatre and museums.
