Devry Boughner Vorwerk is CEO of DevryBV Sustainable Strategies, a company that inspires businesses to courageously serve humanity.
Devry is a well-known international business leader with 20+ years of combined government and private sector experience. In August 2019, Devry left her post as Chief Communications Officer and Corporate Vice President of Global Corporate Affairs for Cargill to found her own woman-owned business. Devry was the youngest female corporate officer elected in Cargill’s 150+ year history.
In her role as CCO Devry was instrumental in designing and launching the global “sustainability hub” for the company. Among her many notable accomplishments, Devry advanced the company’s Human Rights policy, led the effort for the company to join the UN Global Compact, served as the executive sponsor for the Asian Alliance, initiated the effort to create an external advisory group on deforestation, and supported businesses globally to address issues such as human trafficking and child labor in their supply chains.
Devry was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2014 and was selected as one of the world’s top 100 global communicators in 2017, 2018, and 2019 by the influential Holmes Report.
