David Fung

David Fung is currently the Managing Director of Sydney Connections, LLC, an independent management consulting practice. He is an accomplished strategy and operating executive in large-scale global business operations and non-profits. He is skilled at turning around under-performing businesses and driving revenue growth. Prior to establishing Sydney Connections, David spent nearly 27 years at a Fortune 300 company, helping the company grow its business portfolio in the U.S. and Asia. For nearly a decade, David was an expatriate in Asia, spending significant time in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. David’s achievements result from a focused drive for organizational strategic alignment, results-orientation, and clear communication. He is also skilled at inspiring, developing, and leading high performing, diverse teams.
Additionally, David is an Adjunct Lecturer in Management at the Narendra Paul Loomba Management Department at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, the City University of New York where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in strategic management, international management, marketing, and quantitative analysis and decision modeling.
David is a native New Yorker. He earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from MIT and M.S. and MBA degrees from Columbia University. He is also certified in LEAN Six Sigma principles.
