Caira Coleman

Caira Coleman is a 2026 HBCU Fellow at Columbia University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Cultural and Visual Studies and a minor in Management and Organization from Spelman College. Caira is a visionary with an eye for visual communication and a passion for social impact. She plans to leverage her M.S. in Strategic Communication to break down barriers, broaden perspectives and position brands as purpose driven leaders of positive social change. Caira has led initiatives at the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA, supported marketing campaigns at Universal Music Group and recently worked as a creative strategist for Outlander Magazine. She is committed to driving brand success beyond profitability to influencing culture and impacting social change to create a more equitable global society.
