Bruce J. Wilson is a 2022 HBCU Fellow at Columbia University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hampton University, is an alumnus of the Institute for Responsible Citizenship, and a former White House HBCU Scholar. Bruce is serious about impactful investing and creating economic opportunities for the everyday citizen. Bruce is interested in creating solutions to close the racial wealth gap through the intersection of public & private markets, law & policy, and entrepreneurship & innovation. Bruce started his professional career in the private sector, working as a portfolio analyst and business development strategist for a private investment management firm. Bruce is the founder and Chairman of the Hampton University Student Managed Investment Fund (HUSMIF), a member of the TEDx community, and also serves on the National Investment Committee for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
