Bruce Fox

SVP, Head of Derivatives Investments, Genworth

Bruce is a Senior Vice President and head of Derivatives with responsibility for developing and implementing strategies covering OTC and exchange-traded rate, FX, credit, and equity derivatives. Bruce is also a member of the Asset-Liability Management Committee and leads the Tactical Strategy Committee for Genworth Financial. Bruce joined Genworth in 2010.

Prior to joining Genworth, Bruce held several leadership positions in Risk Management and Derivatives Trading while at Citigroup and its subsidiaries from 1986-2010. Most recently, he was responsible for managing global teams of risk professionals. During this time, Bruce was also involved in “sell-side” sales and trading and “buy-side” trading, as well as alternative asset portfolio management.

Bruce holds a BA from SUNY at Binghamton and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a GARP and PRMIA certified Financial Risk Manager and is involved in teaching risk management in a master’s program at Columbia University since 2017.
