Bhakti Mirchandani is a proven leader in sustainable and inclusive investing. She is Managing Director, Responsible Investing at Trinity Church Wall Street, a growing and vibrant Episcopal community with the core values of faith, integrity, inclusiveness, compassion, social justice, and stewardship. Her responsibilities span Trinity's securities, real estate, and mission investing portfolios.
Bhakti is also an adjunct lecturer who teaches her own award-winning impact finance class that she pioneered in Columbia’s Masters in Sustainability Management Program, an independent director of Live Oak Crestview Climate Acquisition Corp (NYSE: LOCC.U), co-founder and steering committee member of Institutional Allocators for Diversity Equity and Inclusion (IADEI), a monthly contributor on sustainable investing to Forbes.com, and a New York State Insurance Fund Commissioner.
Previously, Bhakti was Managing Director at FCLTGlobal, a long-term investing organization, and ESG advisor to Corbin Capital, a large hedge fund of funds. Prior to these roles, Bhakti was a Senior Vice President at One William Street Capital Management, Global Relationship Director for Global Development Organizations and Microfinance Specialist at Barclays Capital/Lehman Brothers, Vice President and early employee at award-winning Indian impact investment bank Unitus Capital, founder of what is now the Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards, micropension consultant to Women’s World Banking, and equity research analyst at Salomon Smith Barney.
Bhakti's work has been featured in the NYTimes, the Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Institutional Investor, CNBC, Business Insider, and at the G-20 and Davos. She is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
