Anthony Pulgram

Lecturer of Communication, Business Offerings

Anthony Pulgram is a strategic communications specialist. He coaches organizations and individuals in the art of storytelling, with a focus on authenticity and impact. Working in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, he prepares clients for a variety of audiences including the Forbes 500 Summit, TED Talks, Television and Radio. He also works as a political consultant and partners with individuals preparing speeches, lectures, symposiums, and pitch presentations.

Committed to the nonprofit sector, Anthony has served as Chief Development Officer at Chordoma Foundation, Development Director at Oakcliff Sailing Foundation, Development Director at Grow Movement and as a consultant to nonprofits in global health, education and the arts. Early in his consulting career, he worked at McKinsey & Co.

Since 2016, he has been a member of the Columbia University SPS faculty in the MS Nonprofit Management Program and the Business Certificate Program teaching Communication and Marketing for Nonprofits, Ethics, and Delivering the Strategic Message.

Anthony is an improv, screen and voice-over actor and was a leading operatic tenor at Lincoln Center, NYC. He couples his performing arts experience with an understanding of corporate and nonprofit culture to provide a personal and individualized approach to each client, ensuring they present a unique value proposition with confidence, clarity, truth and passion.
