Andy Mitchell

Andy Mitchell is CEO/Managing Director of Lega Serie A USA based in NYC. In this role, he oversees commercial, editorial and marketing activities for Serie A across the US, Canada and Mexico. He started in this role in April of 2023. Andy brought more than 30 years of media experience to this role. He started at CNN
Worldwide where he spent 15 years working on initiatives that included the launch of CNN.com; communications for CNN Sports; marketing for the CNN/Sports Illustrated network and Web site; and marketing for CNN Digital. His last role at CNN Worldwide was VP, Digital Marketing and Partnerships. 

Prior to joining Lega Serie A, Andy worked at Facebook/Meta for more than 11 years. At Facebook/Meta, he worked with media companies on their social strategies and product development across news, sports and entertainment. He also held roles leading News Partnerships and building the international partnerships teams across EMEA, LATAM and APAC. His last role at Facebook was head of Global Media Accounts where he led strategic partnerships with the world’s biggest media companies globally, including Disney, NBCU, Televisa and Globo. 

He attended the University of Georgia in Athens and received a BA in Communications.
