Andrea Garcia

Andrea Garcia is a recent graduate of Queens College with a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in law and politics and a minor in legal studies. Andrea graduated a year early and had the honor of being the commencement speaker for the Class of 2023. She is pursuing an M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (NECR). Andrea joined the NECR program because it supports her career goal of becoming a lawyer.
“Conflict is inevitable in the legal profession, and this form of disagreement can lead to heightened levels of stress and frustration for everyone involved,” says Andrea. “I hope to learn about the root of conflict, how it emerges between people, and the different methods of intervention.”
Above all, Andrea strives to apply these skills in the future to obtain fair and just outcomes for both parties.
