Amy Shanle joined BNY Mellon's Enterprise Resiliency Office serving as the Global Head of Strategy & Regulatory.
Previously, Amy served as a Director in PwC’s Financial Services Risk & Regulatory Advisory Practice where she assisted numerous G-SIFIs, global insurance companies, FBOs, large US regional banks and multiple SIFMUs, with risk and regulatory compliance efforts, digital labor implementations, as well as key strategic financial and operational initiatives.
Amy has extensive public speaking experience, having presented on informative banking industry topics to various constituents such as the New York State Banking Department, the Women in Housing & Finance Committee in Washington DC, the Global Association of Risk Professionals, the American Banker Association’s Mentor Factor Conference for High-Potential Women in Financial Services, and the Women in Financial Services Forum on digital banking. Additionally, she has authored numerous thought leadership pieces on various Dodd-Frank Act and related financial regulatory reform publications.
Prior to PwC, Amy served as a financial institutions analyst at Fitch Ratings credit rating agency. Responsibilities included analysis of risks in both loan and investment portfolios, liquidity and interest rate risk, stress testing, earnings power assessment, capital adequacy, regulatory compliance and franchise value.
Prior to joining the financial services industry, Amy served as a Dean of Students, educator, and coach at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. She also served as a Rotary International Young Ambassador in Florence, Italy.
