Amy Lui Abel, Ph.D.

Amy Lui Abel serves as Global Talent Partner with Lee Hecht Harrison, part of The Adecco Group, where she consults with global organizations focused on delivering strategic and innovative solutions in Human Capital strategy, leadership development, analytics, organizational learning, labor markets, strategic workforce planning, talent management, diversity and inclusion, executive coaching, career mobility, and employee engagement.

Amy was previously Vice President of Executive Programs and Head of Human Capital Research at The Conference Board.  Amy also served as Director of Leadership Development with Morgan Stanley supporting high potential senior leaders globally. She has held roles at Accenture, Adobe Systems, JPMorganChase, and led a private consulting organization performance practice.

Amy recently co-authored Strategic Human Resource Development in Practice by Springer.  She has also published in The Center for Creative Leadership Handbook of Coaching in Organizations by Jossey Bass, People + Strategy Journal, The SAGE Handbook of Learning and Work, Human Resources Development Quarterly Journal , and ATD’s TD (Training and DevelopmentMagazineShe is frequently featured in the media, such as, CBS News, HR.com, Workforce.com, SHRM.org, Business News Daily, Business Chief Asia, CNBC, and CIO Review. She is also a frequent speaker at professional conferences and business briefings with Fortune 500 organizations.

She holds several degrees, including a PhD, from New York University in information technology, business education, and organizational learning and performance. She has taught at leading universities, including Columbia University and New York University. She was recently recognized for ‘Women Worth Watching in Leadership’ Award by Diversity Journal.
